Introducing the Clarks x Our Maison styling collaboration, celebrating Black History month. Dedicated to championing designers of African-Caribbean descent, Our Maison is a global platform born of a desire to improve Black visibility in the luxury fashion space.

To celebrate Black History Month, we teamed up with Our Maison for a new Our x Clarks partnership - where Our Maison curated some incredible pieces from Black designers and styled them on top music industry talent - finished with their favourite Clarks kicks. When curating outfits for R.A.E, I looked at her personal style and the types of brands she liked to wear. Her personal style was all about comfort, whereas her style for performance was still comfort-based but a little more elevated. The Mazelle Studio x Not Just Another Store collaboration came to mind. Whilst Mazelle Studio, founded by Nigerian Womenswear Fashion designer Mariam Afolabi, is known for sharp silhouettes, sequins, and shimmer, this collaboration with Not Just Another Store brings a more contemporary feel to the brand. The Gerian Shirt & Gerian Pants is the perfect co-ord for being comfortable and stylish.

Geo Owen is the Creative Director and founder of Geo Location, a men’s ready-to-wear fashion label. From interning for Virgil Abloh creating merchandise for RSVP Gallery, to working in Kanye West’s design studio DONDA on tour design, album covers and more, the graphic designer wanted to transfer his graphical language to physical products that would resonate with people. Each collection seeks an understanding of the Earth, with all its human and natural complexities.

This Cold Laundry look was inspired by R.A.E’s on-stage style - which is brightly coloured, to draw the audience into her world. Whilst this is a tailored piece, it is unisex - so the fit is quite boxy, in line with R.A.E’s oversized vibe. Cold Laundry is a gender-neutral fashion brand founded in 2019 by British Nigerian husband and wife Ola and Cerise Alabi. The brand focuses on creating minimalistic designs that exude style and comfort, through amazing storytelling campaigns.

Idea Tissu, founded in 2019 by Emeka Collins, is a design studio born in London. Characterised by their slogan “An idea made this”, their designs reflect a modern take on prep by recycling the old for the more diverse world of today - balancing luxury techniques with streetwear elements.

Gosse Au Coeur, founded in 2017 by British Ghanaian Benjamin Kyei, is a clean and minimalistic luxe streetwear brand. Gosse Au Coeur, French for ‘kid at heart’, is inspired by nostalgia surrounding Kyei’s youth and childhood experiences.

PRSNL.HB (Personal Hobby) is a London-based fashion label created by fashion designer and atelier Robert Jesse. Robert Jesse focuses on technical designs, as well as designs that reflect his childhood experiences and interests - connecting a community through identity, functionality, and future ideas.
